How I build
I build with AI — deliberately, and at volume. I spent the first years of my career writing software professionally; today I direct the code instead of typing it. My role in every project here is the one engineering leaders are supposed to own: product vision, architecture, the data model, the constraint definitions, the acceptance criteria, and relentless testing of what the AI produces. My family’s soccer showcase — founded 2003, more than twenty editions — ran its June 2026 schedule on a constraint solver I specified and directed an AI to build, replacing a sixteen-year spreadsheet workflow.

About
Professionally: software engineer to engineering manager over twelve years, now leading an organization of 30+ engineers, with an M.S. in Information Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins (2017) earned part-time while working full-time. Since moving into management in 2019 I have personally recruited and hired 60+ engineers and coordinated a company-wide leadership-development program across 18 cities.
In the community: Board Member and Facilities Committee Chair at the Berkshire Museum; Board Secretary of the Northern Berkshire Amateur Radio Club (K1SPS); net-control operator for the regional emergency net in 2023–24, still in the rotation. And every June, the tournament.
